5 Star Cruise
Departs every Monday and Thursday at 3 pm
Day 1
Final check in time is 1.30pm at Blue Lagoon Cruises pre-boarding
lounge at Lautoka. After an opportunity for last minute
shopping at our well stocked boutique and the fitting of
snorkeling equipment you will be transferred by coach to
the wharf to board Blue Lagoon Cruises’ luxury vessel
the Mystique Princess to begin your four day/three night
Gold Club Cruise.
Once
onboard, freshen up in the luxury of your spacious stateroom
before joining fellow passengers in the dinning saloon for
afternoon tea as the Mystique Princess sets sail on the
afternoon tide for the beautiful Yasawa Islands.
Against
the backdrop of a sensational South Seas sunset and spectacular
island scenery complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres
are served on the Sky Deck. The mystical islands cast their
subtle spell as you relax and meet new friends. Tonight
a superb selection of South Pacific fare is served for the
"Captains Welcome" dinner, with a wide selection
of wines available from the ships cellar. Island songs from
the crew complete this first memorable evening.
Day 2
The
first sunrise in the Yasawa Islands is a magical experience
as the light gradually reveals pristine sandy white beaches,
fringed with palm trees. For the energetic early birds there
is an optional dip in a tranquil lagoon before the delights
of a hot and cold buffet breakfast as the Captain skillfully
pilots the Mystique Princess through beautiful coral cays
towards the first stop of the day.
Having
dropped anchor in a sheltered lagoon there is ample time
to explore, swim, snorkel, sunbathe or simply relax in the
shade of a palm tree with a favorite book and a long cool
drink.
After
a barbecue lunch on the beach complete with irresistible
sizzling steaks, sausages, baked fish, salads and tropical
fruit the ships sets course for the next island stop. From
the sky deck there are panoramic views of the rich coral
seas and crystal clear lagoons as the Mystique Princess
carefully anchors near a traditional Fijian village. Here
passengers are welcomed as honored guests. The village green
is the setting for the ancient and solemn "yaqona"
ceremony followed by authentic ‘meke’ entertainment
(dances) and ‘seres’ (singing). This is a place
where time stands still. The Fijian people live today as
they have for hundreds of years and this special opportunity
to share their culture and lifestyle passes all too quickly
before it is time to bid a fond farewell and return to the
waiting ship. For this special night a spectacular smorgasbord
dinner is served followed by evening entertainment courtesy
of your crew.
Day 3
After
breakfast, we weigh anchor and set sail for Blue Lagoon
Cruises own private island paradise, Nanuya Lailai. With
delicate coral and a myriad of tropical fish, it is a snorkeller’s
delight. Once ashore a variety of activities await you including
bushwalking, sailboarding, coral viewing, spy boarding,
paddle boarding, fishing, sunbathing, and for the energetic
volleyball with the crew. In the late afternoon you can
witness the preparation of a traditional island feast or
"magiti" in an earth oven called a lovo. As another
perfect day draws to a memorable end delicacies such as
succulent pork, lamb, chicken and fish with an array of
island dishes and tropical fruit are savored and enjoyed.
After dinner the beach party continues to the strumming
of guitars long into the unforgettable night.
Day 4
After
an optional early morning swim the anchor is lifted for
the last time as the Captain sets a course for the mainland
of Viti Levu. There is breakfast and morning refreshments
to enjoy as the Mystique Princess cruises through the Yasawa
Islands to arrive at Lautoka wharf at noon. Your last memory
of these few heady days in this south seas paradise are
those of the haunting lyrics of Fiji’s farewell song
"Isa Lei" sung by your crew.
