4 Star Cruise
Departs every Monday at 3 pm for a week in Paradise
Day 1
Final
check in time is 1:30pm at Blue Lagoon Cruises’ pre-boarding
lounge at Lautoka. After an opportunity for shopping at
our well stocked exclusive boutique and the fitting of snorkeling
equipment you are transferred by coach to the wharf to board
one of Blue Lagoon Cruises’ stylish Club Class motor
vessels.
Once
onboard we set a course to the most northerly part of the
Mamanuca Group of islands. As the sun sets, complimentary
champagne and hors d'oeuvres are served followed by the
"Captain's Welcome" dinner and entertainment by
your crew.
Day 2
A sumptuous
breakfast is served as we cruise through the beautiful coral
cays and islands of the Mamanuca Group towards our first
stop. Enjoy a swim or bushwalk and a fabulous beach barbecue
luncheon. After lunch your Captain sets a course for the
next stop. Here you can see a basket weaving demonstration,
swim or just laze on the beach.
Tonight,
after sunset cocktails, why not dress-up and join in the
fun and festivities of our exotic theme night - East Indian
Night. The buffet features an array of East Indian delights.
Day 3
An early
morning swim whets the appetite for breakfast. Our first
island stop is an idyllic spot to coral view, swim, snorkel
or sunbathe. Lunch onboard as we head to a traditional village.
Here, passengers are welcomed as honoured guests to take
part in the ancient and solemn "Yaqona" ceremony
and peruse the shell market. Back on board, enjoy a tropical
cocktail before dinner.
Day 4
With
trolling lines set, we cruise to the most northernly island
in the Yasawas, one of the most pristine places in Fiji.
The snorkeling is magic. Back on board for lunch as we cruise
to another beauty spot. Here too, the swimming and snorkeling
are wonderful. Tonight you dine ashore under the stars.
A fabulous spit raost dinner, with island music provided
by your crew.
Day 5
This
morning we visit the local district shool to see what it's
like in a traditional Fijian class room. Back on board our
Captain sets a course for Blue Lagoon Cruises' very own,
very beautiful, private island, Nanuya Lai Lai. You may
choose to go on a snorkeling trip to the reef, hand feed
the fish or play volleyball. Dinner on board tonight with
dancing and music.
Day 6
Today,
we have a full day to enjoy Blue Lagoon Cruises very own
island. The delicate coral is sensational and myriad’s
of colourful fish can be fed by hand or viewed from the
glass-bottom boat. Activities abound and include sail boarding,
swimming, sunbathing, spy boarding, paddle boarding, fishing,
bush and beach walks, volleyball or simply relaxing under
a palm tree with a long tall drink and your favorite book.
Tonight is island night. A ‘lovo’ feast is prepared
in a ground oven with succulent pork, lamb, chicken, baked
fish and an endless array of sensational island dishes.
A ships international beach party follows with the strumming
of guitars and dancing under the stars epitomising the lure
and romance of the South Pacific.
Day 7
There’s
time for an optional early morning swim before the anchor
is lifted for the last time and the Captain sets a course
for the mainland of Viti levu. There is breakfast and morning
refreshments to enjoy as you cruise through the Yasawa Islands
arriving at Lautoka wharf at noon. Your last memory of these
few heady days in this south seas paradise will be those
of the haunting lyrics of Fiji’s farewell song "Isa
Lei" sung for you by your crew.
